HOW TO MEASURE
Bra or no bra? Your bust level and circumference measurement will change with and without a bra on, so if you plan on wearing a bra with your finished garment, make sure you wear one during the measuring process. Otherwise, make sure you are wearing form-fitting clothing (like a tank-top and leggings) and your typical day-to-day undergarments.
Get help. Stand in front of a mirror and have someone on standby to assist you (especially for those back measurements.)
Use the right tape. More specifically, use a flexible measuring tape (rather than a fabric one, as those tend to stretch out over time.)
Check your posture. Stand upright in a relaxed position with your feet together. When measuring, breathe normally and make sure the tape is comfortably fitted to the body. (Don't suck in that tummy — you will just end up with a tight-fitting garment!)
Measure with undergarments similar to those you will wear with your dress; do not measure over other clothing. Make sure the measuring tape is parallel to the floor and pulled evenly across the body with no slack. You may want to consider getting professionally measured. Consult the Size Charts to determine which size you should purchase.
LENGTH FROM HOLLOW TO HEM
Measure from the center of the collarbone (Hollow) to the dress hem.
Note: The length is not measured starting from the garment neckline.
Measure across the back and fullest part of the bust (not under the bust).
Bend to one side to find the crease or natural waist. Measure across the narrowest part.
Standing with feet together, measure at the fullest part of the hip.
